Meet The Owner: Viviana AndradeViviana Andrade has been an educational entrepreneur since 2008. She operates A Plus Academics, where she helps students from all backgrounds achieve educational success. Her company contributes to the region’s economic success by hiring local talent to empower families to be confident in academia and life with custom-tailored instruction.
She uses her expansive knowledge when communicating with parents and local schools while contributing to homeschool communities with her innovative ideas. She provides a plethora of expertise in personalized, meaningful teaching. Viviana is a racial equity advisory council board member with the Hampton Roads Community Foundation, advisory board member of YMCA Peninsula, Member of the Hampton Citizens' Unity Commission and the active Director at the Hispanic Resource Center.. As the former Chairwoman for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Coast Virginia, she spoke publicly about the need for better racial and cultural understanding, such as when she served as a panelist for the discussion of the documentary "America to Me" hosted by the Hampton Roads Community Foundation. Having a passion for education, she teaches her two sons the importance of being life-long learners and feels strongly about setting the bar high with children so they will succeed in their future endeavors. She has started the “Life with Viviana” podcast to provide encouragement and inspiration, which offers intentional empowerment to live your best life. |
